The Minuteman Bikeway , an 11 mile path stretching fron Cambridge MA to Bedford MA,  continues to be a source of interesting recreation for bikers, walkers, runners and strollers.

There's more to living in Arlington MA than access to great public transportation!

Arlington Heights MA....Have an hour to spare? Take the 77 bus or park your car in Arlington Heights, grab a cup of coffee at Starbucks and get yourself to the path around the Arlington Reservoir. The Res is home to the most beaautiful Swans this Spring and the sight is a must see. When you finsh the mile walk around the Res, which takes about 20-25 mins., there's still have time to run into Trader Joe's for a few items!

An interesting view of Cambridge MA, Dec. 1 2011

Cambridge MA right between Porter Square and Harvard Square along Massachusetts Ave. is full of wonderful independant small businesses. Eateries and small shops line the avenue and many of them have been in the same location for many years. Here are a few iPhone photos from the 1700 block:

The view last weekend from the 4th Floor of the Microsoft Center on Memorial Drive was memorable. Saturday, although gray, was beautiful in its grayness and Sunday was lovely. Here's a photo taken from the building looking at Boston/Back Bay, one a many great  Boston communities.
